Take part in the farm safari
During your stay, you can hop on our special little train on Dorpsstraat and let your adventure begin. Even the journey to your destination is an experience in itself! You decide where the journey takes you. Book the farm safari in advance and decide whether you want to visit the Molenwaard stud farm or the Bons dairy by train.
Dairy Farm Bons
The Bons family are neighbours of the Family Resort. In their 5-star hotel, you will find real world champion cows. During your visit to Bons Dairy Farm, the farmer or his wife will take you on a tour of the 5-star hotel and show you how the cows are trained to become world champions. You will see how the cows are milked and get to taste the fresh milk! At the end of the tour, everyone can have their photo taken with one of the world champions. A unique experience!
If you are using the train, we ask you to be at the boarding point 10 minutes before departure. For babies, we recommend using a baby carrier, as there is limited space for prams.
Would you rather get some fresh air and stretch your legs? Bons Dairy Farm is within walking distance of Familie Resort Molenwaard; it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the farm.
After your visit, the train will take you back to Dorpsstraat, and you can continue your holiday with another wonderful memory. The Farm Safari lets you experience the charm of the countryside and offers a real farm experience.
