April: spring, sun and adventure with the whole family
April is a wonderful month for a holiday in the Netherlands. Nature comes alive, the days get longer and the temperature averages around 12 to 15 degrees Celsius. Perfect for a fresh morning walk or a sunny afternoon full of adventure. At Family Resort Molenwaard, you can enjoy the outdoors, meet Fien and Teun and their lovely farmyard friends such as Sebastiaan the Pig, Rosa the Cow and Pim the Dog.
Did you know that your Molenwaard heroes can even be admired every Wednesday and Saturday during the Molenwaard Star Parade? You won't want to miss this spectacle during your stay at our cosy holiday park. But at other times too, you and the whole family can enjoy Fien & Teun's shows or participate in activities such as the Farmers' Kids Disco.
Cosy weekend break in April
The month of April is also dominated by Easter. At Family Resort Molenwaard, you can make your Easter weekend extra special! For example, take part in the cheerful Easter treasure hunt and find the colourful eggs the Easter bunny has hidden on our holiday park.

Midweek or week away in April
Would you like to enjoy spring for longer during your holiday in April? Book a midweek or week away and discover everything our holiday park and the surrounding area have to offer even more. Cycle along the flowering meadows surrounding our Family Resort, visit cosy villages and towns and experience all the Fien & Teun shows. The children can also expend their energy in the Playbarn or groom ponies and ride them at Stip the Pony Ranch.
