The cottages are child-friendly, the park is easy to navigate, and there’s always something to do. Whether you want to take a peaceful walk in the countryside, visit a nearby city, or spend time with the animals, it’s all possible at Molenwaard!
During your stay, you’ll have unlimited access to Adventure Farm Molenwaard. This is especially fun if your baby also has older siblings, cousins, or other little family members joining the trip! The Adventure Farm is suitable for children from around one year old. All of this makes Molenwaard the perfect destination for a holiday with both a toddler and a baby.
A holiday cottage designed for you and your baby
For families with a baby, the resort offers specially adapted, child-friendly accommodations. All our cottages are baby-friendly, but some are particularly suited for a comfortable overnight stay with a baby.
Baby bed in the baby-friendly cottage
Some of our holiday homes come standard with a baby bed, such as the Fien & Teun Farmhouse with baby bed and the Stip the Pony Lodge with baby bed. You don’t need to bring a travel bed, we make sure it’s ready and made up upon your arrival! We also provide a high chair and children’s tableware, so your baby can join you comfortably at the table.
Are there cottages we don’t recommend for a baby?
Yes, there are a few holiday homes that we consider slightly less suitable. These include the Adventure Tent, the 2 or 4-person Polder Lodge, and the Mike & Molly Sheepfold. They are a bit smaller, which can make staying with a baby less comfortable. We also advise against choosing a cottage without air conditioning or a heat pump, as smaller cottages can become warm, especially during the summer.
A few extra tips!
We recommend choosing a holiday home with air conditioning when staying with a baby, such as the Luxury Fien & Teun Farmhouse, or at least a cottage with a heat pump. This keeps the baby bungalow pleasantly cool, so your little one can sleep peacefully even when it’s warm during the day. Examples include the Luxurious Wellness Farmhouse (a great option for families!), cottages on the Village Street, and the Hayrick. Both the Hay Barn and the Luxurious Wellness Farmhouse have an upper floor, with safety gates at the stairs both upstairs and downstairs.
