At Family Resort Molenwaard, children are the focus: they stay in the world of Fien & Teun, with fun activities, performances, and play areas every day. Whether it’s crafting in the Play Barn or feeding animals on the farm – there is always something to experience. And the best part? Your dog is welcome too.
Which holiday homes allow dogs?
At Family Resort, there are plenty of holiday homes where you can stay with your dog. Are you looking for a holiday home with a fenced garden so your loyal four-legged friend can easily go outside? Then choose one of the following homes:
- Fien & Teun farmhouse (for 6 people) - Also available including a baby cot.
- Luxury Fien & Teun farmhouse (for 6 or 8 people) - Equipped with air conditioning!
- Luxury Hay Barn (for 8 or 16 people) - This is a connected house.
Don’t necessarily need a fenced garden for your dog? We also have holiday homes where dogs are welcome but no garden is available:
- Kinderdijk Cottage (for 4 or 6 people)
- Woezel & Pip Cottage (for 6 people) - Including a baby cot.
- Stip the Pony lodge (for 4 or 6 people)

Last minute holiday in South-Holland with your dog
The area around Family Resort Molenwaard is perfect for families with a dog. Take a long walk together through the surrounding polders or explore the windmills of Kinderdijk – a UNESCO World Heritage site just a stone’s throw away. At the resort itself, you can enjoy walking along the water’s edge or playing in the open fields. Dogs must be kept on a leash within the holiday park. You can also enjoy lovely walks with your dog in the Biesbosch National Park. Please note: dogs must be kept on a leash here. Only certain areas in the Nieuwe Biesbosch and Cannemanspolder allow dogs to roam freely.
Your loyal four-legged friend is also welcome at Adventure Farm Molenwaard!
As a guest of Family Resort Molenwaard, you get unlimited access to Adventure Farm Molenwaard. Your dog is also welcome to join you inside. As long as your dog remains on a leash and respects the other animals, he is warmly welcomed on the park. While your children enjoy the shows, animal care, and farm games, your dog can calmly walk along the paths. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the attractions, the Open-Air Haystack Theatre, or Eatery Molenzicht. This does not apply to assistance dogs.
