A night out during New Year's Eve with the kids?

Of course you can! We have several 2-person and 4-person accommodations available for a night out, also during New Year's Eve.

Looking for a time to get away between New Year's Eve and Christmas? That also works out well in 2025. This is because Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on Thursday and Friday. This means you only need to take Monday to Wednesday off and you can almost have a long weekend holiday on New Year's Eve!

While the children are having fun in the play barn or skating around in the Fien & Teun Winter Village, you can relax. In the evening, an extensive festive dinner awaits you in The Family Restaurant. The combination of cosy accommodation, winter activities and tasty dishes makes your New Year's Eve at the Family Resort complete!

Celebrating New Year's Eve with the kids at Family Resort Molenwaard

At Family Resort Molenwaard, New Year's Eve will be a splashing experience for the kids! Together with Fien & Teun, they dive into a world full of cozy winter activities. How about eating oliebollen or ice skating in the atmospheric Fien & Teun Winter Village. For the creative ones, there are also fun craft activities. And have you been to the Molenwaard Light Festival yet? Here you can see all your favourite Fien & Teun characters in all kinds of beautiful lights! They are scattered all over the park, can you find them?

Halfway through New Year's Eve, there is a special countdown for children. With cheerful music, hot chocolate and glittering lights, they count down to the new year together with Fien & Teun. To complete the party, there will then be a dazzling, child-friendly fireworks show. We do all this well before 00:00 so that even the little ones can witness it. So you safely usher in the new year, full of wonder and fun!

Fresh oliebollen are also available for purchase. You can order them on December 29 and 30 via a form, and they can be picked up at the Family Resort on December 31.
