Walk a 3.0-kilometer route through the beautiful historic town of Nieuwpoort. The town of Nieuwpoort, which was granted city rights in 1283, served for many years as a fortified city in the Dutch Waterline. Reminders of its role in the Waterline include the fortress walls, the town hall with its sluice, and the Arsenal.
